"How does the Candle Quencher eliminate smoke?"
- When the ends of the Candle Quencher pinches the burning wick,
they squeeze the oxygen out of the wick. Oxygen is what keeps
the smoke burning long after a flame is extinguished
"How does the Candle Quencher keep glass jars free from
soot?"
- A wick that is not properly trimmed allows carbon to be released,
causing soot to build up inside glass jars. Regular use of the
Candle Quencher keeps the wick trimmed, thus preventing soot buildup.
"Where can I get tips, facts, and other candle information?"

"Must I trim the candle wick before lighting the candle
for the first time?"
- It is recommended by the National
Candle Association that you do so, especially with longer
wicks. However if you forget, the Candle Quencher removes the
burned wick material for you when you pinch the wick and gently
pull up with the ends of the Candle Quencher.
"How do I take the wax off the ends of the Candle Quencher?"
- Gently peel the wax off with your fingers. Since the ends do
not conduct the heat of a candle's flame, you can touch the ends
immediately after extinguishing the candle!
